An Intimate Note to a Sincere Seeker
What is reality? Is it determined by what these sense organs such as the eye, nose, ear etc "percieve"? Is there an "alternative" reality to it? If the "particle" nature and the wave nature of "stuff" are acknowledged, then how do we decode this dual nature (dwandwa) and perceive unity (advaita)?
On Monday my friend asked me how we dissolve the "doer"- that was the subject of the tape we were watching and the identity of the "individual" as opposed to the "infinite conciousness"? Out of Grace came the response, lets take this strip- the Mobius and look at any given point in it. Let us assume one side of it is the individual and the other, infinite. Now at any given point, the 2 planes of the strip are mutually interchangeable. Now what is the truth about the identity/ Individual or infinite? Isn't this another form of the dual nature of existence?
Two and yet one. One and yet two. Male and Female, yet one conciousness: Two entities, yet one love. Guru and pupil, yet one Knowledge. All there is, is but dissolving, dissolving the identity of the particle to attain the wave and ride the wave to experience the particle. Simple really and yet complex isn't it?!
